The Sussex Brewery sits right on the Hampshire and West Sussex border at Hermitage, on the edge of Emsworth, and has been trading for over 250 years. It has watched Emsworth grow from a major oyster and fishing centre into the picturesque harbour town and food destination it is today.
Step inside and the first feeling is authenticity: open fires, plenty of character and the banter of a proper local. We pride ourselves on friendly service, great food, quality ales and a varied wine list, with a spot outside for fine weather.
We are proud to serve local produce, from Treagust sausages made a few minutes away in Emsworth to a wide variety of Pieminister pies, with live entertainment and events all year round.
